Belmont Park is a historic beachfront amusement park located next to Mission Beach, CA and Mission Beach Boardwalk. Belmont Park features a roller coaster, rides, games, concessions, an arcade, a food court, beachfront restaurants and bars, shops, and the Wave House. Belmont Park's main attraction is the Giant Dipper Roller Coaster. Originally built in 1925, the wooden amusement ride was recently restored and is one of two original oceanfront roller coasters still in operation on the west coast.
San Diego Zoo
The San Diego Zoo in Balboa Park, San Diego, California, is one of the largest and most progressive zoos in the world with over 4,000 animals of more than 800 species. It is also one of the few zoos in the world that houses the giant panda.
Seaworld
Sea World is a marine mammal park, oceanarium, and theme park. It includes rides, animal exhibits and other attractions, and promotes conservation through education and through the rescue and rehabilitation of sick, injured or orphaned wildlife.
Coronado Island
The City of Coronado is a small beach community, with an island feel. Coronado is the perfect place to shop, swim, sail, surf, bike, run, walk, rollerblade, play tennis or golf. In order to get to Coronado Island you must cross a 200 foot high, 2.12 mile long bridge. Coronado Island is home to North Island Naval Air Station.
Balboa Park
Balboa Park is made up of more than 1000 acres and offers fifteen museums, various gardens, arts and international culture associations, as well as the San Diego Zoo, making it a place that offers something historical, horticultural, educational and recreational for everyone.

Legoland
Legoland California is a theme park located in Carlsbad, California, focused on Lego bricks. The park is split into nine major sections which are: The Beginning, Dino Island, Duplo, Village Green, Fun Town, Castle Hill, Miniland USA, Pirate Shores, Imagination Zone, and Land of Adventure. The theme park features a water park and is the only Legoland to feature a water park.
Wild Animal Park
The San Diego Zoo Safari Park, formerly known as the San Diego Wild Animal Park, is a zoo in the San Pasqual Valley area of San Diego, California, near Escondido. It is one of the largest tourist attractions in San Diego County. The Park houses a large array of wild and endangered animals including species from the continents of Africa, Asia, Europe, North and South America, and Australia. The park is in a semi-arid environment and one of its most notable features is the Africa Tram which explores the expansive African exhibits. These free-range enclosures house such animals as antelopes, giraffes, buffalo, cranes, and rhinos.
Camp Pendleton
Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton is the major West Coast base of the United States Marine Corps and serves as its prime amphibious training base. It is located on the Southern California coast, in San Diego County, and bordered by Oceanside.
North Island Naval Air Station
Naval Air Station North Island or NAS North Island is located at the north end of the Coronado peninsula on San Diego Bay and is the home port of several aircraft carriers of the United States Navy. It is part of the largest aerospace-industrial complex in the United States Navy.
Marine Corps Air Station Miramar
Marine Corps Air Station Miramar is a United States Marine Corps installation that is home to the 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, which is the aviation element of the 1st Marine Expeditionary Force. It is located in Miramar, San Diego, California, about 10 miles north of Downtown San Diego.
